Creamy Chicken Adobo Over Egg Noodles

First attempt!

Some may want to try their own adobo recipe that they're used to

and simply incorporate the heavy whipping cream their own way.

 

My thoughts:

This meal was f$%&ing delicious.

I served it with huge hunks of zuccini (heated with olive oil and salt)

over egg noodles by the package's direction.

 

Next time I may aim to make it creamier.

If you don't know how to cook chicken adobo,

try it this way first as I know it's "safe enough" to enjoy.

 

I'll try a whole cup of heavy whipping cream next time.

Marinade Ingredients:

8 chicken thighs. skinless. boneless.

1/4 cup soy sauce

1/4 cup apple cider vinegar

1 tsp salt

1 tsp black pepper

Marinate 6-8 hours!

In pot, medium heat:

3 tablespoons of extra virgin olive oil

1/4 large onion, minced

3 garlic cloves, minced

Add chicken!

Re-introduce marinade

Add 1/8 cup of soy sance

Add 1/8 cup of apple cider vinegar

UNCOVERED ON MEDIUM, 10 minutes, turn chicken twice

Add bay leaf

Add sprinkle of rosemary

Add 3/4 cup of heavy whipping cream

COVER ON!

Simmer on medium-low (more towards medium) for 20 minutes!

Finished.

Serve over egg noodles.
