Mexican Lasagna

PROCEED WITH CAUTION.

Only use this as a guideline. This is my initial attempt at a Mexican Lasagna recipe.

BE SURE TO READ THE BOTTOM.

Ingredients:

a    1.67 lbs of ground turkey

b    1/2 large onion

c    1 teaspoon sailt

d    1/2 teaspoon black pepper

e    1 teaspoon garlic powder

f    1/4 oz. of taco mix

     12 lasagna strips

     15 oz. guacamole (this filled one layer)

     10 oz. pico de gallo (this filled one layer)

     12 oz. Mexican cheese blend

     tomato sauce enough to line pasta

-----

    parsley on top when done

-----

Instructions:

1. cook a through f together

2. boil pasta for 8 minutes

THEN

layer baking tray with:

1. pasta

2. tomato sauce

3. ground meat

4. guacamole

5. pico de gallo

6. Mexican cheese blend

7. repeat

FINALLY

bake in preheated oven. 375 degrees fahrenheit, 50 minutes.

----- WHAT I WOULD DO DIFFERENTLY NEXT TIME -----

Quite a few bloopers but it still turned out surprising well. Next time I would:

1. USE GROUND BEEF instead. the turkey clumped together.

2. my pasta was under cooked. I only boiled it for 6 minutes. next time 8-10.

3. sprinkle top of lasagna with cheese when there's 10 minutes left. It'd be more picturesque.

Lastly, 4. ADD CORN!
